What is pluralism in action?

At a time when news headlines and social media feeds amplify the deep divisions within our nation, the question isn't just how we got here—but how we move forward. How do we reverse the tides of polarization and cultivate deeper understanding and connection across our differences?

The work is complex and there are not easy answers. Building a more pluralistic America demands many creative, interdisciplinary, and iterative solutions. This conference is an opportunity to learn alongside 175 leading pluralists as we reimagine what's possible and break down barriers to drive change at scale.

Pluralism in Action will bring together leaders from four distinct audiences, whose combined expertise and experience can spark meaningful progress:

  • Researchers: Scholars from fields like social psychology, communications, and political science, exploring the conditions, attitudes, and behaviors that either promote or hinder pluralism.
  • Practitioners: Professionals implementing evidence-based programs designed to strengthen a culture of pluralism in the places where we live, work, play and pray.
  • Communicators: Writers, filmmakers, and content creators who are amplifying best practices and spotlighting compelling stories of pluralism in America.
  • Funders: Philanthropists committed to catalyzing the infrastructure and investments necessary to drive impactful work.

Why attend?

  •  Build relationships with a diverse group of 175 change makers, including interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners, communicators and funders, all dedicated to fostering pluralism in America.
  • Experience case examples and group work that demonstrate pluralism in action through collaborations across research, practice, funding, and communications.
  • Collaborate on innovative strategies to uplift pluralistic values, practices, and mindsets.
  • Identify breakthrough solutions that will strengthen the pluralism ecosystem.
  • Leave feeling inspired and equipped with new insights to apply to your work and life, as well as the connections, momentum and energy to carry new ideas and partnerships forward.
